Russell Roofing Limited takes Health and Safety very seriously. It is
the company’s intention that work will be carried out in accordance
with the relevant statutory provisions and all reasonably practicable
measures are taken to avoid risk to it’s workforce, clients and others
who may be affected by it’s activities.
Management and supervisory staff have the responsibility for
implementing Russell Roofing Limited Health & Safety Policy
throughout the company and must ensure that H & S considerations
are always given priority in planning and day to day
supervision of work.
The management and staff of the company monitor the operation of
this policy and to assist them in this respect, the company
appoints a third party Safety Consultant to visit sites and
workplaces to give advice on the requirements of the relevant
statutory provisions and safety matters generally. This includes
updating any changes in Health and Safety law resulting to our works.
CDM Regulations
These regulations now implement the EC directive (92/57/EEC) that
relates to temporary or mobile construction sites these regulations
came into effect on 31st March 1995 and were incorporated into “The
Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM 2007) that
came into force on 6 April 2007”
These regulations apply to all projects where construction work is
due to last more than 30 days, or involve more than 500 person
days, and where 5 or more persons will be on site at any one time.
Not withstanding this, the regulations apply to all demolition
and dismantling work.

we work closely with Russell Roofing to provide the advice and support
needed to ensure they comply with the latest regulations. We are a member
of the Russell Roofing team and take care of the health and safety
function for their business.
